They create an acoustic effect that can be described as \u201csuper-enhanced\u201d with a warm yet powerful \u201csparkle\u201d to it.<\/p>\n<p>Pi &amp; Phi MkIII features 10 bands that cover the frequencies from 80 Hz up to 16KHz, along with a \u201cSuper Low\u201d and a \u201cSuper High\u201d band to cover the extremes of the spectrum.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This great sound enriching tool benefits from separate components that have minimum phase distortion. This enables the user to precisely shape the spectral balance based on the Golden Ratio. <\/p>\n<p>The Pi &amp; Phi plug-in also stands out from the crowd with its \u201cdemasking\u201d capabilities. It is very well suited in making an instrument or vocal track \u2018cut-through\u2019 and stand-out from the rest, especially in a cluttered mix.<\/p>\n<p>Overall this is a very effective yet easy-to-use tool. It is as well very \u2018forgiving\u2019, since the amount of distortion introduced is minimal compared to the increase in \u201cloudness\u201d perceived, even when using extreme settings.<\/p>\n<p>In this latest version, Pi &amp; Phi use the signal processing path of the 358 Enhancer, it delivers the round and solid low-end that it is well known for.
