Analog Soul, Digital Precision
MetaFilter captures the soul of analog filtering—highpass, lowpass, bandpass, notch, and comb responses. Choose 12 dB/octave (“obie”) or 24 db/octave (“mini”) slopes, and offset the left and right channels.
Modulation Mania
This filter’s fun factor is all about modulation. Vary the filter cutoff, resonance, and/or delay with the multimode LFO, input envelope, sidechain input, and/or sequencer—with positive and/or inverted modulation.
Move with the Groove
The sequencer and delay time sync to tempo with 10 different rhythmic values (and 12 for the LFO), so that MetaFilter always moves with the groove. And, the Delay can offset the right channel by 150 or 200%.
Definitive Dirt
Sometimes you don’t want clean. Add saturation with the Drive control, switch the delay to an analog character, or use bitcrushing to add the crud of digital decadence—from gentle grit to complete contamination.
Total Control with MIDI Learn
MIDI learn makes it easy to turn MetaFilter into a real-time instrument, or the world’s coolest wah pedal. Play filter frequencies from a MIDI keyboard, and assign any parameters to DJ controllers or control surfaces.
